SPACE TO THE ARTISTS

A showcase for  young artists, a place for exchange, a meeting point, a space open to any sperimentation and interaction among different art languages. Social Club is all of that and at the same time escapes from a precise definition or a semplicistic classification. Braking any rigid baunderies to research and move freely, it's for us the best way to promote and approach the contemporary art that has in its metamorphosis and hibridation its same definition.

Artistic sperimentation and research are rarely fixable and labeled. Social Club amis to develop and divulgate their social and ahestetic value within the regular life style.

Social Club relate mostly to the artists that have not had jet the possibility to face the public or to whom needs an opportunity to show his work. Therefore the project is open to musical and theatrical sperimentation and also to video, digital art, poetry and performance.

The collaboration amon the artists and their different approach to art is the shenary that Social Club is looking for. The caracteristic of aggregation costitute a foundamental point in the relationship with the pubblic.
Social Club (and all the other projects of AreaOdeon) desires to go beyond the passivity that often caracterize the public approach to the art, and transform it in somethig more dinamic and interactive.
